StonySon-Mark Stoner

I was born in St. Louis MO. in 1967. My love for music started very early and I would start singing in church choir and  even did a few solo's as time past. I had 5 yrs. of piano, as well as 4 yrs. high school band, symphonics, marching, pep, and Jazz, I  also at one time played the trombone.

I started playing guitar when I was about 20 yrs. old. It was a used acoustic fender. Though this happened after my "wilder"  days and though I did attend college... my love of music drew me away  from books and being locked up  within  four walls.

I started writting my own music when I was about 27 (yes a bit of a late start) after my first pacemaker surgery, and yes I still continue to write my own music. After my surgery in 2000 I wrote "Heavens Got its way" and shortly there after "Bi-polar Woman".My favorite groups that inspired me where Kansas, Styx, Journey and Pink Floyd, and yes my idols  were and still are Dennis DeYoung, and Tommy Shaw.
